Compassionate online mental health therapy for adults in Oregon

Support for anxiety, burnout, overwhelm, and life transitions

Somatic, mindfulness-based, nervous system–focused online therapy for deeper, body-centered healing.

Welcome!

You may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, weighed down by worry, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you.

Maybe you’re navigating a major life transition, coping with chronic health concerns, or trying to hold everything together while feeling exhausted inside.

It can be hard to find space that is truly your own.

I’m Dr. Chinwe Madu, PharmD, CSWA, a Clinical Social Work Associate providing personalized online mental health therapy for adults ages 25 to 64 throughout Oregon.

I practice under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Social Worker, as required by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.

My Approach

I offer holistic, evidence-based therapy that brings together mind, body, and lifestyle. From a nervous-system and polyvagal-informed lens, we’ll pay attention not only to your thoughts, but also to how stress, safety, and connection show up in your body and relationships.

In our work together, you can expect a warm, collaborative space where we:

  • Explore your thoughts and emotions using approaches like mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to gently shift unhelpful patterns and build practical coping skills.

  • Support your nervous system with polyvagal-informed approaches so you can feel safer, more settled, grounded, and connected in your body, and more open to connection with others.

  • Integrate mind–body practices such as mindfulness, body awareness, visualization, and breathwork to help you calm, regulate, and reconnect with yourself.

  • Build on your strengths through strengths-focused, solution-focused, and positive psychology approaches that highlight what’s already working and support meaningful, realistic change.

I’m also certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a gentle, non-invasive, sound-based program designed to support your nervous system and help reduce stress and auditory sensitivity. If you’re curious, you’re welcome to contact me and visit WhatistheSSP.com to learn more.

My hope is that you leave our work together feeling more resourced, compassionate toward yourself, and able to move through daily life with a greater sense of clarity, ease, and connection.
